Disneyland

To celebrate Katie's birthday, Linette's birthday, and Match Day we used the last 2 days of our Disneyland passes.  The Cars area was a very popular section of California Adventure.  

 "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy."

 The Finding Nemo Submarine Ride was really cool.  

We found Nemo, Dory, and the gang! 

I think this was one of Katie's favorite rides, there were lots of beautiful dolls, nice music, and no scary sections.

Katie was not a fan of the characters, especially Captain Hook!

Nope, she didn't like Pinocchio either.  Chip and Dale were the scariest creatures.   

She was able to smile and enjoy her food when they all left the room.   

The new hat from Grandma Tibben was perfect for the sunshine!  Thanks.

Katie on her own little chair that she loved climbing on and off while we enjoyed the fireplace.  

 The baby bump is getting bigger!  Only 6 more weeks!!

 While a little slow at the beginning she quickly found making a mess was fun and tasty.

 One big mess...which Chris handled very well considering he hates messy eating.

And there is still a beautiful cake on the table to enjoy...after Katie goes to bed.  

She had a wonderful day filled with love, gifts, cake, and she slept through the night!

Disneyland

We are trying to enjoy all the military discount tickets while we can so we got some cheap 3 day passes to Disneyland and went for the day.  Katie did pretty well on the rides although the Pirates of the Caribbean boat was a little dark and scary for her but she put on a brave face.  This was the train that went around the outside of the park.  Right after we got off and put her in the stroller she fell asleep.  

Disney's California Adventure!  Katie loves riding on Dad's shoulders because she can bang on his head like a drum.  Mommy tried this but got her hair pulled....so it is Daddy's job.  

This is a slightly older picture but Katie has enjoyed her wagon from Grandma & Grandpa T.  

I love this smile.  Chris uses it was the background to his computer.  Katie has filled our hearts with so much love and it is wonderful to see her likes and dislikes developing.
