Playtime with Katie.  Our little girl is now 7 weeks old.  I took this video with my phone but I could only send part of it to my email account.  We were practicing "mommy," "daddy," "grand-daddy", and "grammy" until she started spitting up.  Yesterday we did some tummy time until she face planted in large amount of spit up.  I think I need to wait a little longer between feedings and tummy time.

This is the third outfit for the day.  We had an explosion in the car seat and another at the pizza place.
  Chris noticed that the cute cherry outfit is getting rather small now.  These outfits don't last long and I need to keep the ones in the diaper bag up to date (or size).

First swimming adventure in the hotel pool.  Katie got shivering cold in the regular pool but enjoyed a few minutes in the hot tub which felt more like a warm bath.

VT 2's Change of Command ceremony.  Katie received many compliments for her great behavior during the ceremony (she slept through the loud music of the Navy band) and her cute dress.  We are blessed to have a wonderful daughter!

Flexing Her Muscles

 

Yesterday we went to work with Chris for his last hour of watch at one of the airfields in Alabama.  It was an hour drive over there but we got to stop at the outlet mall on the way home for some window shopping.  When we arrived at the airfield, I took Katie out of her car seat she kept stretching and flexing her arms.  Isn't she cute!

Katie new favorite pasttime.

 Katie's new favorite pastime and place to fall asleep is in the swing.  A big thanks to the Johnson family for sharing this with us. 

She likes to swing when she is awake too.  Thanks Robin and Ellen for the cute outfit.  It has been a good week at the Ewing house.  Mom got her last test taken for her masters program and dad is still car shopping (he says he is getting closer).  :)

 Alittle fussy at the tiger cage.  During our first trip in Katie lasted minutes before deciding she was hungry.  We ventured back to the car for some food and a diaper change.  On the second trip inside she did much better although half the time she slept or had her hat over her eyes.  She got to hear the animals even if she can't see them yet.
